For those who don’t know, Kindle NowNow is a feature that allows you to ask any question (except Kindle support questions) by typing it into your Kindle. A group of NowNow answerers research your questions and provide the answer within 10 minutes to your Kindle (as long as you have Whispernet access) and to your email account on file with Amazon.
In a recent review of the Kindle, “Robin in Jax” relayed an experience with the Kindle’s NowNow feature that illustrated a new use for the convenient feature. Robin was apparently stuck in traffic because of local flooding due to tropical storm Fay. After sending a request to Kindle NowNow to provide her (I assume a her) with an alternate route, she received an answer in about 10 minutes with the information she needed to proceed to her destination.
I’ve experienced the usefulness of the Kindle NowNow feature myself, but Robin’s story is one that illustrates just how useful the Kindle can be when faced with life’s little challenges.
